14-Year-Old Georgia Student Graduates High School and College All In the Same Day

Matthew McKenzie, 14, has always been an over-achiever. He began reading advanced books at the young age of four, enrolled in college courses at age 11 and graduated with two diplomas before the age of 15.

McKenzie’s mother Monique McCord said she home-schooled her son since second grade.

“We would pull material from different textbooks and custom create his curriculum,” the mother told Fox5 News. By 11 years old, the Georgia student took a big step and admitted into a dual enrollment in 2016.

“I started off walking him to class and then the environment got a little more comfortable then he started walking himself, so he eased into the transition,” said McCord.

McKenzie exclaimed, “I graduated from Chattahoochee Tech with my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and later that night got my diploma from high school.” He plans on attending Kennesaw State University to study biochemistry and transfer to Georgia Tech for his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.

“I want to be a Cosmetic Chemist I want to start my own line of chemical products, the beauty of things,” McKenzie said.

Since the graduate was 8 years old, it’s been his dream to work in the cosmetic field.

“At one point he said I’m going to cure wrinkles, and I said, good because one-day mom is going to have wrinkles and I’m going to need you,” the proud mother said.

The successful graduate is a big fan of playing football and the saxophone with the Joyful Noise Homeschool Band according to the news station.

NEW YORK (AP) — A federal panel has again denied parole to Mutulu Shakur, mastermind of a lethal 1981 Brinks robbery and stepfather of slain rapper Tupac Shakur.

Mutulu Shakur led a revolutionary group responsible for a series of armed robberies in New York and Connecticut, including the 1981 Brinks robbery in Nyack that resulted in the slayings of an armed guard and two police officers. He’s serving 60 years in the federal penitentiary in Victorville, California, for operating a criminal enterprise and other charges.

He was first denied early release in April 2016.

The 67-year-old Shakur led the Black Liberation Army and the Republic of New Afrika movement. Many of his supporters believe he’s a political prisoner.

The U.S. Parole Commission says Shakur’s next parole hearing is in May 2020.

Don Lemon Is Far Too Patient with Guest Who Repeatedly Sways Conversation from Roseanne’s Racist Tweet

Actress and comedian Roseanne Barr was the talk of the town last evening after ABC canceled her sitcom over her racist “ape” tweets. While many roundly condemned Barr’s comments she was not without her supporters.

On Tuesday’s showing of “CNN Tonight” host, Don Lemon was at his wit’s end with guest commentator Carrie Sheffield who kept on bringing up non-relevant parties such as Jay-z, Joy Behar and Hillary Clinton to prove that they too should face consequences similar to Barr’s.

“This has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton, nothing to do with who I hoped would be president, nothing about that,” stated an exasperated Lemon. “Can we talk about what’s happening now? This is about Roseanne Barr.”

Sheffield continued to bring up ABC network allowing Behar to keep her job and goes on to ask the host if he thinks that “Christianity is an illness?”

Lemon abruptly stopped her in mid-sentence and said, ” I don’t want to give disinformation to my viewers… You’re giving disinformation to the viewers. This is not about Joy Behar.” He continued, “If you can stick with what we’re talking about, Roseanne Barr, fine. If not, I’m not continuing this. It’s ridiculous.”

Just as Sheffield said “Roseanne is redeemable” and mentions how President Trump tried to slam hip-hop mogul Jay-z for his past comments about women, Lemon asked the commentator a question that left her completely silent for a few seconds.

“Do you think the president of the United States should lose his job for saying racist things or being a womanizer?”

Sheffield defended Trump’s vulgar actions and replied, “Everyone is redeemable.”

Pusha T Angers the National Multiple Sclerosis Society With Drake Diss Song

Pusha T Noah MS

Pusha T didn’t seem to waste one line in his scathing diss song to Drake “The Story of Adidon,” a response to the Canadian rapper’s “Duppy Freestyle.”

So far, some of the most talked about lines on Pusha’s song involve Drake’s parents and a secret love child he allegedly made with a former porn actress.

Pusha also sent a vicious shot to Drake’s producer and longtime friend Noah “40” Shebib health.

“OVO 40 hunches over like he’s 80 / Tick, tick, tick / How much time that man got left? / he’s sick, sick, sick,” he rapped.

On Wednesday (May 30), the National Multiple Sclerosis Society released a statement about Pusha’s line and accused him of making light of a very serious disease.

“It’s troubling to hear that a person’s disability would be made fun of by others,” wrote Eileen Curran, the senior director of National MS Society’s public relations and media. “Multiple Sclerosis, which affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide, is an often misunderstood disease. People living with MS face many challenges every day, which is why it’s so important to continue to raise awareness for MS so others can better understand those challenges.”

Coincidentally, “The Story of Adidon” was released just one day before World MS Day, which Shebib acknowledged after hearing it.

Curran brought up the annual day as well and said at least Pusha is making people think and talk about the disease.

“We at the National MS Society see this as an opportunity to raise awareness of this disease, the people who live with it, and the support that is out there – especially since today is World MS Day,” she wrote.

As for Pusha’s reasoning as to why he didn’t pull any punches on the song, he said it all had to do with Drake mentioning his fiancée Virginia Williams on “Duppy Freestyle.”

“All bets are off because of that,” he told “The Breakfast Club” hosts. “That alone causes all bets to be off.”
